49ers WR Ricky Pearsall is having season-ending surgery to treat a lingering PCL injury from last season.
49ers WR Christian Kirk has been sidelined with a calf strain.
49ers RB Jordan James will miss training camp time with a fractured rib. He was expected to compete with Kaelon Black to the be the RB2 to Christian McCaffrey.
The 49ers signed WR Deebo Samuel for a 1-year deal worth up to $7 million.
Falcons QB Tua Tagovailoa missed some time this week with back tightness. Michael Penix Jr. is not yet participating so Jack Strand took QB1 reps. The team also signed QB Cooper Rush.
Panthers 3rd round rookie WR Chris Brazzell suffered a season ending LCL injury in practice this week.
Giants WR Malik Nabers reportedly has a “realistic expectation” to play Week 1.
Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy was carted off the field during Saturday’s practice with a shoulder injury. He was reportedly “not distressed” but this is worth monitoring given he was sidelined for a significant portion of last season with a shoulder injury.
Nabers’ clarified health is by far the biggest news of this week and should catapult him up draft boards in the coming weeks.
