NFL News 🚨

Why this matters:

The Vikings now have arguably the best WR room in the entire league - a three headed monster comprised of Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and now Jauan Jennings.

Jennings has long been an underrated real-life player who ascended to fantasy relevance in the past two seasons, actually averaging more points per game in 2025 than Justin Jefferson.

This is NOT an ideal fantasy landing spot however. There are a lot of mouths to feed. Expect Jefferson to still be a clear first round pick based on his pedigree, but this does lower his floor. Addison and Jennings are currently ranked outside our top 40 WRs.

Why this matters:

Stefon Diggs is the most impactful free agent WR still available on the market, and this case will not prohibit him from finding a team this season.

Diggs eclipsed 1,000 yards last season despite playing limited snaps the entire season in a New England offense that loved to spread the ball around. His days as a top fantasy option are over, but a great landing spot could legitimize him as a Week 1 fantasy starter this upcoming season.

We will be anxiously waiting to see his landing spot.

Could the Jets offense be a fantasy goldmine?

Hear me out:

  • Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson are locked in as legitimate top-10 players in the league at their positions, and Mason Taylor had a relatively promising rookie season.

  • They’ve added first rounders Kenyon Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr. to this core of weapons.

  • The offensive line is…at a minimum…solid…anchored by standouts like Joe Tippman and Armand Membou.

  • The chances that Geno Smith is worse for their passing game than Justin Fields or Brady Cook were last season are very low.

  • The defense has been gutted. Winning game scripts will likely need to include aggressive offense and high point totals for any chance of winning games.

Could the Jets be a fantasy darling this season? Is it crazy?

(*These are basically all things that could’ve been said about the 2025 Raiders.)

🔮 Avery’s Mini-Camp Risers w/ notes

1. Elijah Sarratt 📈

  • He’s looking more polished as a route runner than Ja’kobi Lane who the ravens drafted a round before him

  • Both are fighting for this WR2 spot behind Zay Flowers

  • He dominated in his rookie season at JMU with over 1100 yards then transferred to Indiana and dropped 830 yards and 15 TDs last year leading the conference with Fernando Mendoza

2. Emmett Johnson 📈

  • Andy Reid said he sees a lot of LeSean McCoy in him which I don't think is entirely true from an agility standpoint

  • He 100% has dual threat ability to catch passes and blocks very well

  • Had over 1400 rush yards leading the conference and 12 TDs last year at Nebraska

3: Jadarian Price 📈

  • Looked great route running and catching passes in drills

  • His numbers from college didn’t jump off the page because he was playing behind Jeremiyah Love but the only RB competition is Zach Charbonnet coming off a big injury
