Quarterback

Jayden Daniels - Washington Commanders

Jayden Daniels wasn't exactly a fantasy star in his sophomore campaign. He finished as the QB34 in all formats and averaged just 16.8 fantasy points per game. Those numbers were both down from his rookie season, when he finished as the QB4 while averaging 21.5 fantasy points per game.

Injuries were the main reason for Daniels’ down year. He suffered a knee sprain in Week 2, a hamstring strain in Week 7, and an elbow dislocation in Week 9.

Still, Daniels is one of the best dynasty quarterbacks to own heading into the 2026 season. He is only 25 years old and flashed his ceiling throughout his rookie campaign by scoring above 20 fantasy points in 11 of his 17 games.

With the injury concerns behind him, Daniels is poised to return to elite QB1 territory.

Other QB targets: Malik Willis & Cam Ward

Running Back

Jonathon Brooks- Carolina Panthers

There are a lot of dynasty managers who are completely out on Jonathon Brooks. He entered the league recovering from a torn ACL, missed the first 11 weeks of his rookie season, then tore the same knee again in Week 14 of 2024.

After missing the entire 2025 season while he recovered from his second knee injury, Brooks is now fully healthy for the first time in his professional career. He's been cleared for the Panthers' offseason program and is expected to be ready for Week 1.

That should give fantasy managers confidence in trading for him. This is a player who was a second-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he should have a defined role in Carolina's offense in 2026 and beyond.

Brooks is also only 22 years old. He’s worth the risk in trading for him at this point in his career. His dynasty value has never been lower.

Other RB targets: Cam Skattebo & Javonte Williams

Wide Receiver

Brian Thomas Jr. - Jacksonville Jaguars

Brian Thomas Jr.’s dynasty value has hit rock bottom. After finishing as the WR4 in PPR formats in his rookie season in 2024, Thomas failed to follow up on that campaign last year.

The LSU product finished as the WR42 in PPR formats and averaged only 9.91 PPR fantasy points per game. He was fazed out of the offense by the end of the year, and both Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers outproduced him in the final eight weeks.

That makes Thomas the perfect buy-low target this offseason. He's the most talented wide receiver in Jacksonville's offense and has already proven he can produce at a WR1 level.

With another year in Liam Coen’s offense, Thomas could go back to being that WR1. The 6-foot-2 playmaker is still a top-25 WR asset at just 23 years old.

Other WR targets: Ladd McConkey & Matthew Golden

Tight End

Tucker Kraft - Green Bay Packers

Sometimes, buying injured players coming off significant injuries pays off big. The uncertainty around an injury is a great way to get a better price.

Tucker Kraft tore his ACL in a Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers and could miss the first few weeks of the 2026 season. That injury could prompt some dynasty managers to ship Kraft away.

Kraft was in the midst of a breakout campaign before tearing his ACL. He averaged 14.7 PPR fantasy points through the first nine weeks and finished as the overall TE1 in two different weeks.

Even if he is limited for most of the 2026 season, Kraft projects well for the rest of his career. He won’t turn 26 years old until November and ranked first among all tight ends in yards per reception (15.3) and yards per team pass attempt (1.96) last season.

Buy him now.

Other TE targets: Isaiah Likely & Jake Ferguson
