Recent Trade Wins from the WalterPicks App šŸš€

Every week, the Transactions Tool in the WalterPicks app populates with recommended adds, drops, and trades that you should be considering to improve your fantasy teams. All recommendations come from our transactions team and are powered by Walter’s projections, carrying out thousands of simulations of the rest of the season.

Week 8: Last week’s list featured buying low on Rome Odunze. He then went on to catch seven passes for 114 yards en route to a WR8 PPR fantasy finish.

Week 7: We had both Michael Pittman Jr. and Derrick Henry as buy-low options this week. Pittman has had back-to-back strong fantasy performances, and Henry scored 19.1 PPR fantasy points in his first game after the bye.

Week 6: We recommended buying low on Tetairoa McMillan. He went on to score a season-high 17.9 PPR fantasy points against the Cowboys in Week 6 and then totaled seven catches for 99 yards last week.

Week 5: We encouraged fantasy managers to see what it would take to acquire Rashee Rice. In his first two games off the suspended list, he has scored 23.2 PPR fantasy points and 25.5 PPR fantasy points.

Buy Low/Sell High Fantasy Football

Sell High: RB J.K. Dobbins

There’s no doubt that Denver Broncos RB J.K. Dobbins has been a reliable fantasy option through the first eight weeks. He has finished as a top-24 RB in six of eight games, and his 11.9 half-PPR fantasy points per game rank as the RB22.

However, now is the best time to trade away the Broncos’ RB. RJ Harvey is likely going to be more involved in the coming weeks, and Dobbins has a tougher schedule the rest of the season, especially in the fantasy playoffs. Denver faces the Packers (Week 15), the Jaguars (Week 16), and the Chiefs (Week 17) in the fantasy playoffs. All three of those defenses rank top 10 against fantasy RBs.

So, see what you can get for a reliable RB2. For context, we have Dobbins ranked as the RB34 in our rest-of-season rankings. That makes him the perfect sell-high candidate following a 111-yard rushing effort last week.

Buy Low: QB Jayden Daniels

Injuries have been a major factor for Washington Commanders QB Jayden Daniels this year. He missed two games earlier in the season due to a knee injury and is currently dealing with a hamstring issue that kept him out of last week's loss.

However, Daniels is one of the best fantasy quarterbacks when healthy. He has scored over 17 fantasy points in all five of his games this season while averaging 19.5 fantasy points per game across those contests. With the second-year QB expected back soon, buying him might not be a bad idea.

Daniels is a set-it-and-forget-it QB1 each week, and he has a favorable upcoming schedule. He plays the Lions in Week 10, the Dolphins in Week 11, the Giants in the first round of the fantasy playoffs in Week 15, and the Cowboys in the fantasy football championship in Week 17. So, make the move for him now while his value is suppressed.

Sell High: RB Breece Hall

New York Jets RB Breece Hall is coming off a career game in Week 8. He ran for 133 yards and two touchdowns while also throwing a passing touchdown en route to a 32.9 PPR fantasy point day. After that performance, it's best to sell Hall in most formats.

His fantasy value might never be higher, and tough matchups loom following the team's Week 9 bye. Hall faces the Browns in Week 10 and the Patriots in Week 11 — neither defense allows big games to opposing RBs.

While there are rumblings that Hall could be traded at the deadline, there's no way of knowing where he'll wind up. Therefore, see if you can sell him for another RB like Jaylen Warren, who we have ranked one spot higher in our rest-of-season rankings.

Using the WalterPicks NEW Trade Finder

The NEW trade finder in the WalterPicks app will make your life a whole lot easier. If you are actively looking to trade for or trade away a player, all you have to do is sync your league to the WalterPicks app, and Walter will give you the best deals for that player across your entire league.

Let’s look at some trades that I can make for J.K. Dobbins in one of my leagues using the NEW trade finder in the app.

Trade 1:

I Receive: RB Quinshon Judkins & WR Amon-Ra St. Brown

Team 2 Receives: RB J.K. Dobbins & TE Travis Kelce & WR CeeDee Lamb

Ruling: While I might lose this trade on paper, this actually helps me long-term. I get an upgrade at RB in Quinshon Judkins, and the gap between CeeDee Lamb and Amon-Ra St. Brown is hardly anything. Although I lose Travis Kelce, I have enough depth at that position with Oronde Gadsden II and Dallas Goedert still on my roster.

Trade 2:

I Receive: WR Rome Odunze & RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Team 2 Receives: RB J.K. Dobbins & TE Travis Kelce

Ruling: This is a trade I actually sent out because I could use some WR help with bye weeks starting to loom. Odunze is better the rest of the season than Dobbins, and losing Kelce doesn’t really hurt me with the depth I have at the TE position.

Trade 3:

I Receive: RB Derrick Henry

Team 2 Receives: RB J.K. Dobbins & TE Oronde Gadsden II

Ruling: This is definitely an even trade for both teams. I get the RB upgrade in Derrick Henry, while he gets a solid TE1. For context, this fantasy manager is starting Evan Engram as their TE1 every week.
