Starts of the Week: Week 4 Starts and Sleepers
Quarterbacks
Start: Jacoby Brissett (vs. Giants) is facing an injured Giants defense that is also not talented when healthy. Unless the weather is bad, there will be lots of points scored in this game. Play Brissett coming off his 25 point game. *He also plays the Lions next week!
Start: Brock Purdy (vs. Broncos) has a matchup that’s scary on paper. But, Purdy is playing way too well right now to be left on the bench. He’s running more than usual, and is playing elite football right now. He ranks as our QB3 this week!
Sleeper: Jalon Daniels (vs. Packers) is for the deepest league sickos here. He is mobile, and facing a bad packers defense that doesn’t have tape on him. Don’t be surprised if Daniels does well in this spot. He earned this backup job over veterans on the roster. He ranks inside the top-15 QBs this week for us.
Running Backs

Start: Braelon Allen (vs. Bears) is in a great matchup, and is on a Jets offense that’s underrated. The Jets are moving the ball, and will be seeing lots of red zone opportunities in this matchup. Saquon Barkley would’ve had over 100 rushing yards against Chicago if it weren't for some iffy holding calls.
Start: Jeremiyah Love (vs. Giants) is not someone to bench, but I want to give you even more confidence this week. He’s electric and has a massive ceiling against a bad giants defense. He’s seeing a full workload, and it appears as if Tyler Allgeier is being phased out.
Sleeper: Alvin Kamara (vs. Falcons) has not been good, but in this competitive matchup, he’ll be in line for lots of pass-catching work. He could have 7 catches for 30 yards and help our lineups in deep league
Wide Receivers

Start: Josh Downs (vs. Commanders) is seeing a high-quality target share, and is in a London game against the Commanders where he has an opportunity to really go off. Play Downs with confidence in one of the most advantageous WR matchups possible.
Start: Tetairoa McMillan (vs. Lions) is coming off a disappointing game where he was shadowed by Denzel Ward, but he now has an elite matchup with a horrendous Lions secondary. He has a massive ceiling this week.
Sleeper: Marvin Harrison Jr. (vs. Giants) is facing a bad Giants defense, and has an opportunity to see a substantial target share in this spot. In deep leagues, MHJ could help our lineups this week, regardless of whether or not he’s the biggest draft bust in recent memory.

Tight Ends
Start: Isaiah Likely (vs. Cardinals) is in a QB situation that isn’t ideal, but the Giants will need to score lots of points in this game to win. We project Winston to heavily target his safety blanket in this competitive game. Likely ranks TE10.
Sleeper: Kyle Pitts (vs. Saints) is very tough to trust, hence the sleeper designation. But, hear me out. Don’t yell at me. Pitts is facing a Saints defense that’s given up at least 40 yards to a tight end in every game this season, including two in week 3. There’s a path to Pitts succeeding.

My Favorite Upset Pick of Week 3

Bucs to beat the Packers at home
Odds: +154
Spread: GB -3.5
Reasoning: Based off last week, there is nothing that leads me to believe the Packers should be getting this much respect, regardless of who Tampa’s QB is. Daniels is a capable backup, and the Packers have zero film on him. Don’t be surprised if the Bucs upset here.
Bonus HOT Take: If the Bucs lose, Todd Bowles is fired.
