Kaleb Johnson - I don’t want to talk about it
D’Andre Swift - Finished as the RB15 🔥
🏈 4 RBs with Fantasy Football BREAKOUT Potential in 2026
1. Bhayshul Tuten (RB - Jaguars)

Bhayshul Tuten’s breakout isn’t overly difficult to diagnose. He’s an electric running back with an above average pass-catching skill setAs a rookie, he didn’t have any boom performances, but he scored 7 total touchdowns. He only averaged .7 receptions per game, but this was largely due to him being firmly behind Travis Etienne. With Etienne now in New Orleans, expect the Jags to put Tuten in a much more significant role.
Tuten will be sharing the backfield with Chris Rodriguez, who I am making an honorable mention on this list. He has a nose for the end zone, and can catch passes effectively in his own right.
Walter’s Rank for Tuten: RB18
Walter's Projected Ceiling for Tuten: RB4
2. Omarion Hampton (RB - Chargers)

Omarion Hampton didn’t play a full season in 2025 due to various ankle injuries, but performed well when healthy. He scored 15 or more PPR points 3 times, and showcased his elite pass-catching ability, gathering 5 or more receptions 4 times. His breakout is being cooked into his current RB10 ADP, but for good reason.
Tackles returning from injury and Mike McDaniel coming in to call the plays should positively impact the Chargers rushing efficiency. Herbert having time to operate is crucial, and this combination will provide Hampton with ample goal line opportunities. The only thing preventing him from breaking out is an unforeseen injury.
Walter's Rank: RB11
Walter's Projected Ceiling: RB3

3. Jadarian Price (RB - Seahawks)

With Kenneth Walker out of the picture, and Zach Charbonnet recovering from a serious leg injury, Jadarian Price is in line to produce immediately in Seattle. The Seahawks spent a first round pick on Price, which tells us all we need to know about how they feel about him. Being the top RB for the defending champs isn’t a shabby gig.
Price has an excellent goal line skill set, and we have seen how well that translates to fantasy relevancy in recent years, particularly on great offenses (shoutout to Javonte Williams). He was behind one of the top players in the 2026 draft, Jeremiyah Love, but still managed to score 13 total touchdowns in his final collegiate season. Several members of the WalterPicks Projections Team are in on Price, and perhaps you should be too.
Walter's Rank: RB30
Walter's Projected Ceiling: RB15
4. Blake Corum (RB - Rams)

Blake Corum remains behind Kyren Williams heading into 2026. But, the explosiveness he showcased in 2025 is hard to deny. Between Weeks 13 and 16, Corum was a touchdown machine, scoring 5 over that span. At a minimum, he’s a top-tier handcuff on one of the top offenses in the NFL. He’s worth targeting in every draft unless his ADP rises to an absurd point.
Walter’s Rank: RB35
Walter's Projected Ceiling: RB15
