Trade One: Josh Allen for EVERYTHING

This trade was submitted by one of WalterPicks’ new Community Managers. It’s a doozy.

My Verdict:

Trading away Josh Allen is never easy, but four first-round picks and Cam Ward is a substantial return. The 2026 class is thin, but the two 2026 picks will likely turn into quality wide receivers. The team losing Josh Allen is clearly rebuilding, but these are the trades you make to effectively rebuild.

This is a fair trade.

Walter’s Verdict:

We consulted the WalterPicks Dynasty Trade Analyzer, and Walter is fond of the future capital being accrued by the non-Josh Allen side.

Walter believes this is a resounding win for the Cam Ward side.

Trade 2: WR Bombshell

My Verdict:

George Pickens and A.J. Brown are the clear cornerstones of this trade, but Jonathan Brooks gives the Brown side a ceiling that could prove decisive. Brown is three years older than Pickens, which is an important distinction. The Brown side is looking to win now with a high-upside running back attached. Brown will be the WR1 on whatever team he plays for. Pickens will not unless the Cowboys move him.

I prefer the A.J. Brown and Jonathan Brooks side, but it’s close.

Walter’s Verdict:

They say, “great minds think alike.”

Walter and I are in agreement here. Pickens is the best player in the trade, but acquiring the speculative ceiling of Jonathan Brooks is the game-changer here.

Walter leans towards this trade being fair, with a slight edge towards the Brown and Brooks side.

Trade 3: A Lot to Take in Here

This trade was submitted by one of our awesome Discord members! You should join BTW.

My Verdict:

I have a plethora of questions regarding this trade. People use defenses in dynasty leagues? You’re trading defenses? Brandon Aiyuk is still playing?

All kidding aside, this trade is pretty crazy. If Aiyuk signs somewhere else and plays, his production is unlikely to be elite. Dallas Goedert is likely in his last season with the Eagles. D.K. Metcalf is not someone we can consistently rely on for fantasy football. Jake Ferguson dominated the first half of 2025, but then fell off a metaphorical cliff. Chris Rodriguez is fun to speculate about, but consistent production in Jacksonville could or could not happen with Bhayshul Tuten in the mix. The draft pick is sneaky as well. For reference, at 3.03 in my most recent dynasty rookie draft, Emmett Johnson, Ted Hurst, and Skyler Bell were all still available.

Based on all these factors, my gut prefers the Metcalf and Goedert side.

Walter’s Verdict:

Walter views this trade as very even when speculating on Aiyuk’s trade value. He currently doesn’t show in-app because of his current status. Go check out the Dynasty Trade Analyzer for yourself!

Trade 4: A Bonkers Exchange

My Verdict:

I really wish the Michael Wilson side was acquiring a 2027 first-round pick here. If you’re going to lose players like Ladd McConkey and Cam Skattebo, you need to acquire a pick in the loaded 2027 class. Context is important. But for reference, the 6th and 7th picks in my 2026 rookie draft were Kenyon Sadiq and Fernando Mendoza. That’s simply not enough of a return if you’re losing players that have proven their fantasy football capabilities. On top of that, the Skattebo side is also receiving Matthew Golden and Blake Corum, two players that have immense fantasy ceilings in the future.

The Michael Wilson side loses this trade significantly in my opinion.

Walter’s Verdict:

As expected, Walter is very much in favor of the McConkey side. There are very few scenarios where the Wilson side comes out on top.
