🚨 How to Find Winning Trades That Will Actually Be Accepted
Confession: I’m in too many leagues where we’ve drafted too early. I was in one league that drafted before July 1st.
Usually in these leagues, you have to just sit and stare at your roster. People are very hesitant to make trades before the season. They talk themselves into their draft picks, and want to see how it plays out before making changes.
I’ve been able to convince league mates to trade in multiple leagues this year.
How?
I have something at my disposal that I didn’t have in the past - The WalterPicks Trade Finder!
This is something we released in the middle of the regular season last year, and has become my favorite feature in the app. I’m a tremendously uncreative trader. I’m also always hesitant to send offers that help me because I’m unsure about my proposals and whether or not they’ll be insulting.
This does away with all of that, scanning through thousands and thousands of potential deals and surfacing the ones that are win-win for both sides.
Seth made this video walking through how to use it ⬇️
If you’ve already drafted, its really something you’ve gotta try for yourself. Give it a go. I hope it helps you as much as its helped me!

De’Zhaun Stribling is the man of the week, garnering tons of hype in practices and backing it up with a big performance in the 49ers first preseason game. He had 7 catches for 62 yards in just one half on 15 total routes. He lined up in the slot on 63% of his plays meaning a Mike Evans return may not be enough to keep him off the field when the regular season begins.
Chuba Hubbard is week-to-week with a hamstring injury, powering a jump for Jonathon Brooks this week. The door for him to take over the Carolina backfield is wide open.
The hype for Denzel Boston is off the charts right now. He and KC Concepcion appear to have already established roles as starters in Cleveland.
Jordan Mason appears to be thriving in the Vikings new outside zone run scheme. There were reports about him shining in practices this week. He may be pulling away as the RB1.
There were reports this week that Jacory Croskey-Merritt is entrenched as the Commanders RB1. OC David Blough also praised his growth as a pass catcher. This may be blanket positivity, as Rachaad White reportedly also was very impressive in joint practices. But this explains his jump this week.
Jaydon Blue was used in the first preseason game like he has solidified the RB2 role in Dallas. The same goes for Jonah Coleman with the RB3 role in Denver.
Jeremiyah Love will miss time with an injury, raising the stock of Tyler Allgeier. Unless Love’s injury lingers, the rise will likely end soon.
There have been some reports from the New England beat that there has not been much improvement in TreVeyon Henderson this camp. These are likely the reason Rhamondre Stevenson saw a bump this week.

Isaiah Pacheco is currently out with an MCL strain. The Lions claim he will be back by Week 1, but they are also a strong candidate to add another RB before the season begins.
Oronde Gadsden dips again this week after playing in the Chargers first preseason game while Charlie Kolar and David Njoku sat out. It is looking more and more like this will be a 3 TE rotation, making Gadsden’s floor too low to be rostered in most leagues.
Omar Cooper Jr. did not play with the Jets starters in their game, and has reportedly been passed by Isaiah Williams as the primary slot receiver in the offense.
Jauan Jennings may not have a strong hold on the WR3 role with the Vikings. Tai Felton played over him with the starters in their first preseason game. Felton did continue playing with the backups after the starters exited, so this hierarchy is not set in stone.
Chuba Hubbard, Kenyon Sadiq, and Jalen McMillan remain out with injuries for now.
Makai Lemon is reportedly firmly behind Dontayvion Wicks on the Eagles WR hierarchy and missed Saturday’s practice with a hamstring injury.
Isaac TeSlaa is on this list for no other reason than he had an atrocious preseason game, going 0-3 on targets, and fumbling one of them into a defender for an interception. He appears to be at risk of losing his WR3 role to Greg Dortch.
