Tyler Shough was one of the premier fantasy QBs from Weeks 13-18, averaging over 20 fantasy points and over 25 rushing yards per game. Now he enters his second year in Kellen Moore's system with more weapons than he had as a rookie. Adding Jordyn Tyson and Travis Etienne raises Shough's ceiling weekly, and the Saints also have one of the easiest schedules in the NFL. Unless you drafted a top-tier QB, Shough is a smart add.

Right now, Tyler Shough ranks as our QB16, but has a ceiling of the QB2 overall.

Jalen Nailor is a far more speculative add than Shough, but there a strong argument to stash him nonetheless. In 2025, he averaged just 6 PPR points per game, but scored 19-plus PPR points twice despite some of the worst QB play in the NFL. Nailor also ranked 10th in yards per reception (15.2) and 8th in receiving touchdown rate, with 2 TDs called back for penalties. His only solidified competition for targets on the Raiders is Tre Tucker and Brock Bowers. Walter ranks Nailor as the WR52, ahead of Jalen Coker, Matthew Golden, and Khalil Shakir.

Add Nailor if you’re in a league with a deep bench.

I don’t love recommending players to drop before the season begins, so I’ll use this opportunity to regretfully remind you that Ricky Pearsall is out for the season. If you still have him rostered in your league, you can comfortably (or uncomfortably) drop him.

With this news, Deebo Samuel, Mike Evans, and De’Zhaun Stribling all saw a target share increase in our projections. We’re rooting for you next season, Ricky.

An underrated fantasy football tactic is trading away players who just signed with a new team. They garner hype and are talked about throughout the fantasy community. Stefon Diggs is a huge name and is coming off a productive season in New England, totaling over 1,000 yards.

He is on the brink of turning 33 years old and is the second or third option on the Commanders. Jayden Daniels showed signs of regression in year two, finishing 36th in catchable pass rate before being ruled out for the season with various injuries. The Commanders offense overall also just took a huge hit, with LT Laremy Tunsil tearing his pec. He is likely to miss most of the regular season.

There is, of course, a positive case for Diggs. He is one year further removed from an ACL injury and could play a higher percentage of snaps this year. Daniels also remains one of the highest ceiling QBs in the league.

The fantasy football community is, from my perspective as a fantasy football content creator, incredibly down on De’Von Achane right now. Most are worried about a bad offense, iffy QB play, and dreadful defense impacting his ability to succeed.

My question is: How are those three things any different from last season?

Those three things were true last season, and Achane had one of the best fantasy RB seasons of all time. His lowest point total of the season was 12.8 PPR points. If he was drafted begrudgingly in your league, capitalize on that by sending an offer for him. He currently ranks as our RB10 with a ceiling of RB1 and floor of RB21.
