Fantasy Risers After Week 2 ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Rome Odunze:

Odunze has seen 20 targets combined over the first two games of this season, and it is abundantly clear that he is Caleb Williams' favorite target. We are in the midst of the second-year breakout, and he is a must-start for the foreseeable future. He takes on the Cowboys this week, a team that was just TORCHED by Russell Wilson.

Hunter Renfrow:

Hunter Renfrow has been one of Bryce Young's favorite targets this season, seeing 15 across the first two games of the season. He is worth a speculative add in deep leagues, and in most 10-12 person leagues, he is someone to keep an eye on. If he has another performance like the one this week, he will be a very popular waiver wire target in the coming weeks.

Jaylen Warren:

Jaylen Warren was once again effective through the air in Week 2. He touched the ball 15 times, and is clearly the lead back in Pittsburgh. Kaleb Johnson has dug himself an even deeper hole, and Warren's stock is steadily rising as he takes on the Patriots in Week 3.

Cam Skattebo:

Cam Skattebo had four touches in Week 1, then saw 13 touches in Week 2. Tyrone Tracy was seeing work as a kick returner, and Skattebo played better than Tracy. As the season progresses, it would not be surprising at all to see Skat fully take this backfield over. The Giants have two difficult matchups ahead, but the rookie's stock is rising.

Daniel Jones (again):

After beating up on a bad Dolphins team, Daniel Jones had another excellent outing against one of the best defenses in the NFL. He is clearly benefiting from a change of scenery, and is an asset that is incredibly difficult to bench moving forward.

Fantasy Fallers After Week 2 ๐Ÿ“‰

Tyrone Tracy Jr. (again):

Tracy did not necessarily play poorly in Week 2, but Cam Skattebo out-touched him and looked good while doing so. As the rookie continues to garner more work, it is going to hinder Tracy's chances for big fantasy performances. Couple that with the tough schedule, and Tracy is essentially not startable.

Brian Thomas Jr.:

Brian Thomas Jr. has been incredibly inefficient with his target shares so far, and he has also had some drop issues to begin this season. He is still someone you need to start, but the red flags are slowly rising.

Isiah Pacheco:

Isiah Pacheco has faced two difficult defenses to start the season. But he has looked terrible and inefficient, which is similar to how he looked to end last season. Kareem Hunt is taking a lot of his touches, which bodes even worse for Pacheco's chances of fantasy success.

R.J. Harvey:

Harvey has not seen as many touches as fantasy managers would like this season, and it is unlikely that he sees a massive influx any time soon. He was an expensive fantasy draft asset, but he is now best left on the bench until he proves otherwise.

Bengals Pass-Catchers:

Chase and Higgins had much better performances in Week 2 than in Week 1. They are both players that feel like must-starts every week, but they will have Jake Browning at the helm for the foreseeable future. Their respective stocks will take slight dips until Burrow returns from turf toe.

Waiver Wire Recommendations

Daniel Jones:

Daniel Jones is still low-owned in fantasy football, but he had another stellar performance in Week 2. This time, against one of the best defensive units in the NFL. He has rushing ability, and that makes him someone worth considering in your lineup every week.

Troy Franklin:

Franklin has seen 15 targets across the first two weeks, putting together an excellent stat line in Week 2. He had eight receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. This target share is notable, and he is worth strong consideration on the waiver wire in deep leagues.

Wanโ€™Dale Robinson:

Wan'Dale Robinson is one of Russell Wilson's favorite targets so far, seeing 18 across two games. He had a career day in Week 2, and his manufactured touches and targets make him someone to target in fantasy leagues.

Bhayshul Tuten:

Tuten looked excellent with his Week 2 touches, and he is the immediate backup to Travis Etienne. Tuten needs to be rostered in every single league.
