Fantasy Risers After the Fantasy Football Season 📈

Michael Wilson:
In previous seasons, Michael Wilson showcased some signs that he could be a productive fantasy player if given the opportunity. But in 2025, the Cardinals wideout broke out beyond anything fantasy football players could have imagined. He has been one of the greatest waiver wire pickups in fantasy football HISTORY. Heading into next season, his ADP is going to be one of the most fascinating subjects of conversation. Who will be the QB? Will Marvin Harrison Jr. be there? If he is, will he render Wilson valueless? What other weapons will be added to the fold? Regardless, what a season for Michael Wilson!
Tyler Shough:
Tyler Shough has shocked football fans everywhere with how well he has played for New Orleans. He is likely to win the rookie of the year, and was a top 12 QB in fantasy football in four of his seven starts. As he continues to grow in Kellen Moore’s offense, Shough has the opportunity to become a fantasy football star.
Harold Fannin Jr.:
Harold Fannin Jr. is the TE10 in fantasy points per game, heading into Week 18. He had the fourth-highest target share among tight ends, and he is only going to continue improving. The “second-year slump” often impacts rising stars, Sam LaPorta and Brian Thomas Jr. being recent examples. And the Browns QB situation will continue to be a huge question mark. He is going to be a very popular topic of the fantasy football conversation this offseason.
*Tooting my own horn: Harold Fannin Jr. was my favorite prospect in the ENTIRE 2025 draft class.
Kyle Monangai:
Monangai’s rookie year numbers do not necessarily jump off the sheet, but he had three games with over 17 PPR points down the stretch. And the Bears rushing attack was one of, if not the most, prolific in the entire NFL. It is certainly possible that we are seeing an early version of a David Montgomery sort of running back, which is one that Ben Johnson has tons of historical success with. He could be a steal in 2026 fantasy drafts.
Fantasy Fallers After the Fantasy Football Season 📉

Emeka Egbuka:
Egbuka started the 2025 season by looking like one of the top rookie WRs in recent memory, finishing with 20 or more PPR points in three of his first five games. After those games, he finished with over 20 PPR points only one time prior to Week 18 (which has not happened yet). He is clearly talented, but his fantasy stock has plummeted in recent weeks. His 2026 ADP is going to be fascinating.
Chuba Hubbard:
After an electric 2024 where Hubbard finished with nine outings with over 15 PPR points, the Panthers RB finished with only three performances over 15 PPR points in 2025. Rico Dowdle took over the Carolina backfield and he is notably a free agent this offseason ,but Hubbard was pretty quickly usurped of his role. Whether he will ever be a high impact fantasy RB again is a huge question mark.
Jayden Daniels:
After one of the best rookie seasons of all time, Jayden Daniels’ 2025 campaign was a huge disappointment. He averaged almost 40 rushing yards per game, but the passing numbers were not impressive. His highest weekly finish was as the QB6, while he had 8 finishes inside the QB7 his rookie year. His 2026 ADP is a question mark, but those who draft him are going to be clamoring for some signs of his early success.
David Montgomery:
Monty is currently the RB32 in PPR points per game with 10, and he only had three games all season with more then 14 PPR points. His season took a dive once Dan Campbell took over the play calling, culminating with a run where he scored under 10 PPR points in each of Weeks 14-17. He is 49th in RB snaps per game, 40th in rush attempts per game, 55th in targets per game among RBs, and 30th in yards per carry.

MNF DFS Favorites

FLEX: Blake Corum, FD price: $7,600 DK Price: $4,600, is in a very advantageous game script tonight. The Rams are heavy favorites, and Corum has been heavily involved as of late, scoring five TDs in his last four games. Another reason to play him is because I left him on my bench in my most important league, and those guys ALWAYS go off.
FLEX: Konata Mumpfield, FD Price: $4,600 DK Price: $2,200, is almost too cheap to be risky. He can help us get some major studs into our single-game lineup, while also having the potential to see lots of snaps. He is game script proof in my opinion, which makes him a lock for DFS purposes, especially on DraftKings.
FLEX: Kyle Pitts., FD Price: $8000 DK Price: $8,800, has scored over 60 PPR points combined in his last two games, and is clearly Kirk Cousins’ favorite weapon right now. With lots of defensive attention on Drake London, Pitts is an enticing stud play on this slate.
