Fantasy Risers After Week 2 📈

Omarion Hampton:

Omarion Hampton had his best game of the season in Week 3, scoring a rushing touchdown, while catching six passes for 59 yards. Najee Harris is likely done for the season, leaving much more opportunities on the table for the rookie. Hampton was frustrating for fantasy managers through two weeks, but now he is someone you must start.

A.J. Brown:

A.J. Brown finally had one of his signature performances in Week 3. It appears as though the formula for him is to be in a competitive matchup against a respectable defense. Luckily for fantasy managers, he is taking on the Bucs and Broncos the next two weeks, two teams that meet that criteria. The week after that, he faces the Giants. The patience could pay off for disgruntled fantasy managers.

Quinshon Judkins:

Quinshon Judkins is the workhorse for the Browns now. The WalterPicks projections team believes that he may still get suspended this season, but his role is fantastic right now, and if you have him, you should be ecstatic.

Cam Skattebo:

Cam Skattebo built off his Week 2 performance, tallying over 100 total yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs. Additionally, Tyrone Tracy appears to have suffered a serious shoulder injury, which will result in Skat garnering one of the best workloads in the NFL. The Giants are the worst team in the league, but the rookie running back will see lots of volume, making him a great fantasy asset.

Jake Ferguson:

Jake Ferguson has one of the best target shares of any tight ends so far. The Cowboys defense is one of the worst in the league, meaning he will see plenty of opportunities on a weekly basis. At the moment, he must be started in all leagues.

Fantasy Fallers After Week 2 📉

Ashton Jeanty:

Jeanty has been inefficient this entire season, and he is contributing precious little in the passing game. His workload is strong, but he has not looked great, and the Raiders may be playing from behind a lot.

Chase Brown:

Chase Brown has also been inefficient this entire season, averaging less than three yards per carry behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. Now, with Jake Browning attempting to guide the ship, Brown's chances of increasing his efficiency are not high. He has a good workload, but this offense is stinky.

Tee Higgins:

Tee Higgins is in one of the worst spots possible for a fantasy manager. You cannot start him. You cannot cut him. And nobody in your league wants him. With this terrible, Joe Burrow-less Bengals unit, Tee should be benched unless you are in a deep league with multiple flexes.

Ladd McConkey:

Ladd McConkey is consistently ceding work to Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen so far this season. If you are his fantasy manager, this is not what you have been wanting to see. It is very difficult to bench him, considering how good Justin Herbert has been. He is talented, and talent usually rises to the top. But for now, his stock has slowly fallen through the first three weeks.

Brian Thomas Jr.:

Thomas Jr. has continued to disappoint this season, and we are growing more concerned as the weeks go on. At this point, he is difficult to trust, and it may be best to try and move him, unless you can afford to hang on to him until he turns things around.

Add/Drop/Trade Candidates

TRADE FOR Omarion Hampton:

Omarion Hampton is a rare "buy high" right now. With the injury to Najee Harris, Hampton's workload is going to increase even more. This week, he showcased his ability to catch passes, and if that continues, he can win leagues. Buy the former Tar Heel high.

TRADE AWAY Kyren Williams:

Kyren Williams had his most efficient rushing performance of the season this week, averaging 4.7 yards per carry against the Eagles. His touchdown came on a reception, which is also uncharacteristic of Williams historically. Capitalize on this outlier efficiency and touchdown by trading him for more than what he is likely worth.

ADD Tre Tucker:

Tre Tucker had an all-time fantasy performance in Week 3, totaling over 40 PPR points. This is unlikely to happen again, but Geno Smith has targeted him heavily, and we think he should be rostered in most leagues. The deep threat he poses makes him an elite boom/bust option.

DROP Dylan Sampson:

Dylan Sampson has been usurped by Quinshon Judkins, and the WalterPicks projections team does not view Sampson as someone worth rostering at this juncture. He can be safely dropped in favor of someone else.
