Fantasy Risers After Week 5 📈

Emeka Ebuka:
Emeka Egbuka has consistently been involved in sell high conversations and/or weekly start/sit discussions. He is a locked in, must-start WR at this juncture. He’s had at least one TD in four out of his five games, and he has eclipsed the century mark in each of his last two contests. He is a top-tier asset, and he should be started with the most confidence of any WR on the Bucs.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt:
Croskey-Merritt totaled 150 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in week 5. He out-touched every Commanders RB by a mile, and this is likely a sign of things to come, especially when you factor in how much better he looks than the other backs. He is not a must start asset, but is worth strong consideration moving forward as an RB2.
Jaylen Waddle:
Waddle took advantage of his first game without Tyreek Hill of the season, recording six receptions for over 100 yards and a touchdown. He is a WR to strongly consider starting every single week moving forward. He is a high end WR2.
Rachaad White:
White thrived as the starter this week, and given the bleak injury news regarding Bucky Irving, he is going to be a certified starting option until Irving returns. The Bucs have a bunch of advantageous matchups coming up with the Niners, Lions, and Saints.
Fantasy Fallers After Week 5 📉

Derrick Henry:
Without his touchdown in Week 5, Henry would have scored three fantasy points while averaging two yards per carry. With all of Baltimore's injuries and the difficult matchup with the Rams, King Henry is incredibly difficult to trust in Week 6. Outside of Week 1, Henry's top performance has been 10.7 PPR points. Yuck.
Emari Demercado:
Demercado was a fantasy football darling heading into Week 5. He ended up seeing fewer carries than Michael Carterand Bam Knight. He also dropped the ball before reaching the goal line, resulting in a game-losing turnover. Do not trust Emari Demercado by any stretch moving forward.
Jakobi Meyers:
Meyers has been in three consecutive advantageous matchups, and he did not take advantage of the opportunity in any of them. The fact of the matter is that Geno Smith is looking like the Geno of yesteryear, and the Vegas offensive line is abysmal. Unfortunately, Meyers is far from trustworthy at this point in the season.
Darius Slayton:
Slayton is simply unstartable at this point. Even though he "took" Nabers' spot, he had two plays against the Saints that led the Saints to victory. He is also dealing with a hamstring issue, and the severity of that is yet to be determined. He can be safely benched and/or cut, especially considering how grueling the Giants schedule is moving forward. Seriously, look up their schedule. When do you think they will win their next game, if ever?

Add/Drop/Trade Candidates

TRADE FOR Jameson Williams:
Williams has had three dreadful games in a row, but the Lions have two matchups coming up that are perfect for the role Jameson Williams fulfills. In high octane matchups, such as KC and Tampa Bay, Williams is capable of week-winning performances. He is likely free to acquire, and if you have the bench space, attempt trading for him.
TRADE AWAY Sam LaPorta:
Sam Laporta had an outlier performance this week, totaling almost 100 yards and a touchdown. In his previous three games, he did not go over 39 yards or four receptions. If you are rostering another tight end that is worthy of being started, attempt to move LaPorta for a more consistent piece.
ADD Ryan Flournoy:
Flournoy saw a very impressive workload in week 5, seeing 9 targets and recording over 110 yards across them. In deep leagues, he is worth a flyer, especially when you look at his upcoming schedule: Carolina, Washington, Denver, Arizona. He will likely only possess value while CeeDee Lamb is out. Flournoy is a deep league add.
DROP Darius Slayton:
Slayton is dealing with a hamstring injury, but even outside of that, he is a detriment to the Giants’ offense, and there is almost certainly a better option to start in your league. Slayton should only be rostered in leagues with 12 or more teams.
