Things to Pay Attention to on MNF

  • Can Bryce Young continue to make this offense great after last week?

  • Can Ricky Pearsall produce like he was at the beginning of the season?

  • CMC revenge game

  • Will McMillan be a league winner down the stretch?

Fantasy Risers After Week 12 📈

Kareem Hunt:

Kareem Hunt saw a staggering 33 touches this week against Indy. If Pacheco continues to miss time, Hunt would be an incredibly enticing start in good matchups moving forward. 33 touches is more than he would see in his prime.

Kenneth Gainwell:

The Steelers’ backup running back has been great with the ball in his hands, and he had two touchdowns wiped off the board this week, which would have given him his third 30 PPR-point performance of the season. Outside of being an important handcuff, Gainwell has some standalone value as well.

Michael Wilson:

Wilson has seen 33 targets across the last two games, totaling 25 receptions for over 300 receiving yards. These are Puka Nacua numbers. Even if Marvin Harrison Jr. returns soon, it appears as though Michael Wilson has earned a role moving forward. If he reverts back to 3-4 catches per game, I would personally consider that malpractice on the Cardinals part.

Travis Etienne Jr.:

Etienne evaded the potential Bhayshul Tuten ascension this week, outperforming him by 19 PPR fantasy points. Etienne has now recorded 15 or more PPR points in four straight games, and he now plays the Titans in Week 13. The former Clemson Tiger has the Jets in his first fantasy playoff matchup.

Fantasy Fallers After Week 12 📉

D’Andre Swift:

Swift was out-carried by Kyle Monangai this week 12 to 8. The rookie also was more impressive and efficient than Swift. Moving forward, this backfield will be risky. And it will begin right away as Chicago takes on Philly on Black Friday.

Bhayshul Tuten:

Tuten did not live up to the hype this week, being massively outperformed by Travis Etienne against the Cardinals. The rookie should probably still be rostered in 12-team leagues with deep benches, but he appears to be locked firmly into a handcuff role.

Lamar Jackson:

Lamar Jackson has been stinking it up lately, causing immense frustration for fantasy managers. He has not run much the past two games, and has thrown for no touchdowns. Relief may be coming considering he has Cincy twice and Pittsburgh the next three weeks, but we have to at least acknowledge how disappointing he has been since returning from injury.

Romeo Doubs:

Doubs is on the faller list because he has recorded 9 or less PPR points in each of he last three games and is incredibly difficult to trust. He has one game with more than 20 PPR points this season. With the emergence of Christian Watson and the return of Jayden Reed looming, its hard to see Doubs being anything more than a desperation start this season.

Add Candidates

ADD Brenton Strange:

Brenton Strange led the Jaguars in receiving yards in his return from injury, which is consistent with what he was doing prior to the injury. He has a great schedule down the stretch, and he has a real shot of being the focal point of Duvall’s passing attack moving forward.

Add John Metchie:

Metchie has turned in two good fantasy performances in a row, recording 13 or more PPR points in each, and he is one of the only reliable options on the Jets. He should be added in leagues with 12 or more teams, potentially even 10 or more teams depending on the bench depth.

ADD Jayden Higgins:

Jayden Higgins is worth a pick up in deep leagues. He saw 9 targets in Week 12, recording 4 receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown. The stats are not super enticing, but the targets are, and with Stroud coming back, and the pass-heavy schedule ahead, Higgins can be added by somewhat desperate fantasy managers.

ADD Sam Darnold:

Sam Darnold has a revenge game on the schedule this week against the Vikings. The Vikings have made a habit of turning the ball over in their own territory since the return of McCarthy. If you need a QB this week, consider the former Viking against the Vikings.
