Jonathan Taylor’s attempt to return to fantasy super-stardom
Will Jauan Jennings score another TD this week?
Did you know the Niners still have a shot at the top seed?
Fantasy Risers After Week 16 📈

Tyler Shough:
Shough has quickly become a beacon of consistency among fantasy QBs, scoring 17 or more points in four straight games. He now has a matchup with Tennessee in the fantasy championship, a team allowing the sixth most points per game to the QB position. They recently have allowed Shedeur Sanders and Brock Purdy to score 34.5 and 26.2 points respectively. The rookie is a very interesting fantasy QB in the fantasy championship.
Trevor Lawrence:
TLAW has scored 19 or more fantasy points in each of his last five games, including 44 points against the Jets, and 31 points against an elite Broncos defense on the road. The Jaguars have an outside shot at the top seed in the AFC, and they have a matchup with the Colts, a team that can be exploited. Lawrence’s stock is perhaps higher than it has EVER been.
Harold Fannin Jr.:
Harold Fannin Jr. should be in the rookie of the year conversation, as he has been the top weapon for the Browns. He just put up the second-best TE performance of the season against the Bills, scoring 19.5 PPR points, behind only Mike Gesicki in Week 14. Next week, he is facing a Steelers defense that allows tight ends to succeed, and he is going to rank very highly in the WalterPicks app.
Kenneth Gainwell:
Jaylen Warren had a fantastic outing in Week 16, but Kenneth Gainwell’s performance should not be forgotten. He had an unbelievable receiving touchdown against the Lions, and has quietly scored 16 or more PPR points in five of his last six games. Facing the struggling Browns, Gainwell is in an unequivocal must start in fantasy football in the championship.
Fantasy Fallers After Week 16 📉

Bucky Irving:
Bucky Irving has seen substantial workloads in each of the last two games, but has not produced for fantasy. The Bucs simply cannot find consistency offensively, and the erratic QB play for Tampa Bay has caused some issues for the offense’s success as a whole. The second-year back has a matchup with Miami in the fantasy championship, who just got destroyed by the Bengals’ RBs, but starting him is going to be a difficult given these past few weeks.
Xavier Worthy:
Worthy cannot be started under any circumstances, and if dropping him is your only path to picking up someone you can start, that would be a wise decision. He has fallen under 9 PPR points in three consecutive games, and he has a daunting matchup with the Broncos on Christmas. His QB situation is going to be tumultuous to say the least.
Jake Ferguson:
Ferguson is currently being rostered and started in too many leagues. He has not eclipsed 12 PPR points in eight straight games, and when he did exceed the mark, he was heavily reliant on touchdowns. He can be dropped heading into Week 17.
David Montgomery:
Monty has scored less than 10 PPR points in each of his last two games, including 1.4 PPR points against the Steelers. If you have him rostered, you cannot play him against the Vikings on Christmas.

Add Candidates

ADD Rhamondre Stevenson:
With Henderson going down, Stevenson is a smash play against the Jets if the rookie were to be out for that game. He played very well against Baltimore, and he is going to see a sizable workload against one of the worst teams in the league.
Add Tyjae Spears:
If you are in a tough spot this week, Spears is an interesting add against the Saints. This game should be competitive, and the Titans RB just saw his largest workload of the season. He is an intriguing flex option who could go off in PPR leagues.
ADD Parker Washington:
The Jaguars’ WR has become one of the top boom/bust WRs in all of fantasy football, scoring 17 or more PPR points in five of his last seven games, including 26.5 points against the Broncos defense. He can be played with some confidence against the Colts in deeper leagues.
