While Waddle was set to be the top wide receiver in Miami's offense, this trade actually benefits the 27-year-old in fantasy. He's moving to a better offense led by a better quarterback, and that matters more than target volume. This should make Waddle a consistent WR2 in fantasy in 2026.
Waddle will be competing for looks with Courtland Sutton, but Waddle is clearly the more talented receiver. He slots in seamlessly with Bo Nix, and the two should be particularly dangerous against man coverage. Nix ranked 12th in completion percentage against man coverage last season, while Waddle ranked 11th in first-read target share in those same scenarios.
