The Saints started ascending towards the end of last season, and I believe it’s reasonable to forecast an even more upward trajectory for New Orleans this season. The Bucs are the clear favorite, but Todd Bowles is an uninspiring head coach that probably should’ve been relieved of his duties two years ago. The Panthers have an impossible schedule, and the Falcons are a mess. At 26%, the Saints are at a minimum an extremely intriguing option in the NFC South.

Generally, projections are exactly that, projections. There’s no concrete evidence of how successful you’ll be throughout the season after the draft. However, if you look at your matchups throughout the season and you’re projected to win a majority of your matchups, you should feel pretty good. If you’re projected to dominate most of your matchups, you should feel very good.

You can see WalterPicks’ projections for your lineup in the My Team tool. These are going to be more accurate than whatever fantasy platform you’re using.

Upon completion of your draft, opening the MyTeam tool in the WalterPicks app will show you a variety of different options to select. The first one is My League. Tapping that will show you playoff odds for your entire league, as well as the positional strengths of your starters.

A high percentage is obviously an indicator that you should be feeling good after your draft. Check it out here!

Everyone has their favorite picks in the draft. Drafting players that you have conviction on is a way to judge your draft. If you believe in players, and then drafted them, how could you possibly judge your draft negatively? I always like to judge my pre-draft preparation positively if my league mates are reaching to takes guys I’ve been in on all pre-season.
