Miles McBride Under 1.5 Assists (-227 on BetMGM) - Value +3.7%

Why:

After recording zero assists across a measly eight minutes in Game 3, we’re projecting Deuce McBride to fall below this prop line. The odds are not necessarily elite here, but BetMGM is the only book offering 1.5 right now, and we’re going to take advantage.

The Spurs’ defense has been reminiscent to a boa constrictor at times, making games with lots of assists hard to come by, unless you’re one of the few players playing 35+ minutes a night against them. McBride is not one of those players. This prop has an excellent value, and has a 72% to win, based on Walter’s projections combined with the odds from the sportsbooks.

BetMGM has this prop at -227 odds, which the Prop Evaluator helped us identify.

Victor Wembanyama Under 10.5 Rebounds (+130 on theScore Bet) - Value +3.1%

Why:

It may seem crazy to take an under on Victor Wembanyama’s rebounds, but he’s only gone over this mark once in The Finals. Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Mitchell Robinson have made cleaning the glass an arduous task for Wemby, and we don’t foresee that changing in Game 4. Aside from taking lots of his rebounds away, the Knicks are also eliminating some of his opportunities to secure boards by fouling him before he has the chance to grab them and start a transition opportunity. With the odds on theScore Bet, we’re all over this prop tonight.

theScore Bet has this prop at +130 odds.

NBA Finals Hot Take: Jalen Brunson has NOT Been Good

Jalen Brunson is the cornerstone of this Knicks team, and will forever be a beloved figure in New York sports history. He’s also been dominant and electrifying in every 2026 playoff series so far… except for The Finals.

He’s currently shooting 31/81 in the series, with 13 turnovers, only 13 assists, and a +/- of -13 (wow, that’s a lot of 13’s). Outside of the stats alone, his in-game decision making has been, to put it kindly, iffy.

I’m not in their locker room, so I’m unsure of whether or not this is intended by Mike Brown and his staff…

But Brunson’s been playing an insane amount of isolation ball, and missing open teammates on a frequent basis.

I do not want to discredit all the great things Brunson has done, but I want to call out that if he doesn’t start playing like his normal self, the Knicks could be on the brink of catastrophe. The LAST thing New Yorkers want is a repeat of the 1999 NBA Finals.

The Knicks are not my favorite team. But I am rooting for them to win the series, and I believe Brunson can turn his play around. However, it’s been astonishing to see just how poor his shot selection and choices have been throughout the first three games.

Let’s start turning it around tonight Big Body Brunson!
