If you are 0-1 in fantasy football, donât panic. The BEST way to improve your team this early in the year is by syncing YOUR league to the WalterPicks app. By syncing your league, you will be able to see custom rankings, use the start/sit tool, and the trade analyzer.
The trade analyzer is one of the most popular tools in the Walterpicks app at this time because everyone is making sure they donât get ripped off in trades. If you want to guarantee you win every trade you make, the trade analyzer is a game-changer.
You can see how each trade affects your team and whether your projections for the rest of the year will go up or down. You are also able to see what your team will look like once the trade goes into effect. So, donât miss out on winning every trade and sync YOUR league to the WalterPicks app.
Buy Low/Sell High Fantasy Football

Buy Low: RB Kenneth Walker
The first week did not treat Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker well. He ran just 10 times for 20 yards and played only 40% of the teamâs offensive snaps. Meanwhile, backup Zach Charbonnet saw more carries (12) and played more percentage of the teamâs offensive snaps (58%). All that made Walker one of the more disappointing fantasy players in Week 1.
However, this is a great opportunity to buy low on the Seattle running back. While Charbonnet should be involved in some capacity every week, Walker is going to get more of the high-value touches in this offense. He out-carried Charbonnet (5-1) in the fourth quarter and touched the ball in 13 of his 21 offensive snaps (62% touch rate per snap).
Therefore, itâs best to trade for Walker right now. He missed the past couple of weeks of practice due to a minor foot injury, which could have played a part in his limited work last week.
Doing this trade featured below could be a league-winning move for your fantasy team. Walker is still ranked above David Montgomery, Aaron Jones, and J.K. Dobbins the rest of the way in the WalterPicks app.

Sell High: RB Javonte Williams
Thereâs no doubt that Dallas Cowboys running back Javonte Williams was one of the biggest winners after Week 1. He scored 20.4 PPR fantasy points and logged a 77% snap share. Williams also moved up in the WalterPicks rest of season rankings, jumping up to the RB27.
Nonetheless, the four-year veteran is one of the bigger sell-highs before Week 2. Williams was extremely inefficient on the ground to start the season, rushing just 15 times for 54 yards (3.6 yards per carry). If Dallas hadnât gotten down to the one-yard line on two different drives, we would be looking at a much different fantasy day for the former North Carolina product.
Itâs also important to note that fifth-round rookie Jaydon Blue was inactive for this game. Whenever Blueâs time comes in this Dallas offense, he is going to take opportunities away from the veteran. As a result, this might be the highest Williamsâ fantasy value will be for the entire year.
So, see what you can get in return for Williams. WalterPicks believes that you can get someone like Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers in a deal for the Cowboys running back.

Buy Low: WR Calvin Ridley
Week 1 was always going to be a down week for Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley. Not only was this rookie Cam Wardâs first career start, but the matchup against Denverâs secondary was the toughest possible matchup. Ridley had to go up against the reigning Defensive Player of the Year in Patrick Surtain.
Therefore, the results were never going to be there in Week 1. And it wasnât. Ridley caught just four passes for 27 yards while finishing as the overall WR52 in PPR formats.
However, there are plenty of positives to take away from that game. Ridley played 95% of the teamâs offensive snaps and led Tennessee with eight targets. The veteran also had an 89% route participation. So, better days will surely be ahead for the veteran.
If you could somehow get Ridley in a trade for someone like Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, that would be a huge win for your fantasy team. Despite finishing with subpar fantasy numbers in Week 1, Ridleyâs rest-of-season rankings on the WalterPicks app actually rose four spots.

Using the WalterPicks Trade Analyzer
Each week, we will look at some recent trades that went down in Yahoo! leagues and use the WalterPicks trade analyzer to see if these trades were fair. This section is a way for you to see where players might be valued in the app.
Trade 1:
Team 1 Receives: RB Javonte Williams
Team 2 Receives: TE Tyler Warren

Ruiling: Even as both Williams and Warren are valued about the same.
Trade 2:
Team 1 Receives: RB Omarion Hampton + WR Tee Higgins
Team 2 Receives: WR Emeka Egbuka + RB Josh Jacobs

Ruiling: Another even trade. Jacobs is valued higher than Hampton, but Higgins has the higher value over Egbuka. A fair trade.
Trade 3:
Team 1 Receives: TE Evan Engram + WR Jayden Reed
Team 2 Receives: TE Sam LaPorta

Ruling: Team 1 actually wins the trade by trade value, but Team 2 gets the better end of the deal. Team 2 gets the better TE and only departs with a WR in Reed, who is probably their WR5.
