Happy Holidays from all of us at WalterPicks!
🏈 WalterPicks Team Parlays
The WalterPicks team has come together to give some of our best parlays for the three Christmas Day games. We did a similar team parlay for the three Thanksgiving Day games a few weeks ago, and there were some massive hits.
We hit a +1537 odds play on Thanksgiving, which came straight from the WalterPicks app. So, be sure to check out what we came up with for these Christmas Day games, and check out the WalterPicks app for more betting picks.
Seth Burton:
Parlay: +226 on FanDuel
Amon-Ra St. Brown OVER 6.5 receptions
Most Rush Yards In Broncos vs. Chiefs Game: RJ Harvey
Reasoning: Amon-Ra St. Brown is projected for 6.7 receptions in WalterPicks’ Player Prop Evaulator, and RJ Harvey has rushed for at least 50 yards in three straight games. With both Kareem Hunt and Isiah Pacheco failing to rush for more than 40 yards in three consecutive weeks, Harvey should finish with the most rushing yards in this game.
Trevor Martin (not a fan of parlays) gives three straight bets:
No. 1: Chris Rodriguez Jr. OVER 47.5 Rushing Yards (-115 BetMGM)
Reasoning: Chris Rodriguez Jr. has gone over this line in three straight games. Given that had a season-high 57.7% rush share last week, this is a bet worth taking.
No. 2: Aaron Jones OVER 61.5 Rushing Yards (-108 Caesars)
Reasoning: With Jordan Mason expected to miss this week’s game, Aaron Jones should see the majority of opportunities in this backfield. Since this Lions defense has allowed three different RBs to total over 70 rush yards over the past two weeks, Jones should feast on Thursday.
No. 3: RJ Harvey OVER 48.5 Rushing Yards (-112 DraftKings)
Reasoning: Harvey has gone over this line in three straight games. He is the clear top running back in this Denver backfield, and the Chiefs just let Tony Pollard rush for 102 yards last week.
Joey Pollizze:
Parlay: +365 on FanDuel
Dak Prescott OVER 270.5 Passing Yards
Jahmyr Gibbs OVER 73.5 Rushing Yards
Jahmyr Gibbs Anytime TD Scorer
Reasoning: Dak Prescott has gone over this line in four of the last five games, and Jahmyr Gibbs is due for a big game against a struggling Minnesota defensive line. The Vikings have allowed the sixth-most rushing yards to opposing RBs this season.
Andrew Sampogna (Samps):
There’s a barrage of backup QBs on Christmas, which sort of feels like getting coal in our stockings. But there is a bright side to all these QBs. Backup QBs mean one thing: kickers working overtime.
In the words of Clark Griswold, “JOY TO THE WOOOOORLD!” because we have a MERRY KICKMAS PARLAY!
Brandon Aubrey OVER 2.5 PAT made
Jake Moody OVER 1.5 FG made
Will Reichard OVER 2.5 FG made
Jake Bates OVER 5.5 kicking points
Reasoning: The Cowboys have a 28.75 team total this week, which means Brandon Aubrey will have plenty of chances for field goals. Dallas can’t stop anyone and has given up multiple field goals in three straight games (a plus for Jake Moody). The Vikings might be able to move the ball against a bottom Lions defense, and Jake Bates has finished with more than 5.5 kicking points in five straight games.
Sam Factor:
After hitting my +1537 parlay on Thanksgiving, I am looking to stay hot on the holiday long-shot parlays. Here is my Christmas Day parlays (one 2-leg parlay at +2300, and another 4-leg parlay at +3963).
First leg: Terry McLaurin Over 79.5 Receiving Yards (+300 on Hard Rock).
Second leg if you want to make it spicier with some correlation: Mclaurin anytime TD (+195 on Hard Rock)
We have seen 11 different receivers have 80+ receiving yards against the Cowboys this season, and eight of those 11 scored a TD against the Cowboys in that same game. The Cowboys offense won't be stopped by this Commanders defense, which should mean plenty of pass volume for the Commanders even with Josh Johnson likely to start at QB.
Third leg: RJ Harvey over 79.5 Rush yards (+500 on Hard Rock).
Fourth leg if you want to make it spicier with some correlation: RJ Harvey anytime TD (-115 on Hard Rock).
The Chiefs are 13.5-point underdogs with someone named "Chris Oladokun" starting at QB, Rashee Rice uncertain to play, and their playoff hopes evaporated. Everything here points towards a run-heavy game for the Broncos, which gives Harvey a strong floor in this one.
The Chiefs have had a strong run defense this season, but they just allowed 154 rush yards and a TD to Pollard and Tyjae Spears last week. Harvey does not have a game with over 75 rush yards this season, but he is very capable of big plays. Harvey has five rushing TDs in his last four games.
