Biggest Fantasy Football Winners of the NFL Draft

Fantasy stock is up for these players after the 2025 NFL Draft!

Quarterbacks

  • Drake Maye

    • The Patriots drafted 4 offensive players in the first three rounds, adding two hyper athletic OL and two skill players with some explosive upside in TreVeyon Henderson and Kyle Williams.

  • Justin Herbert

    • Omarion Hampton and Tre Harris are significant upgrades to this supporting cast and boost the overall ceiling of the Chargers offense significantly.

  • Bryce Young

    • Tet McMillan is a significant upgrade to the Panthers WR room. Young has what could be the best group of weapons entering his third season.

  • Caleb Williams

    • The Bears were the betting favorites for Jeanty entering Thursday but ended up taking two pass catchers with explosive upside in Colston Loveland and Luther Burden III. There is potential for Ben Johnson to supercharge Williams’ fantasy production in his sophomore year.

  • Trevor Lawrence

    • Now armed with two elite WRs in Brian Thomas Jr. and Travis Hunter, the fantasy ceiling has risen considerably.

  • CJ Stroud

    • With Diggs departing and Tank Dell unlikely to play in 2025, the pass catching room in Houston was looking bleak. Texans added two capable WRs in Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel, to complement Stroud’s skillset.

Running Backs

  • Chuba Hubbard

    • Jonathan Brooks is likely out for all of next season and the Panthers added only Trevor Etienne, who poses very little threat to Hubbard’s workload.

  • James Conner/Trey Benson

    • Arizona added no RBs in the draft or free agency this year.

  • D'Andre Swift

    • After rumors of them trading up for Jeanty heated up on draft day, the Bears only took a 7th-round RB who isn't a pass-catcher. Swift’s role should be very secure.

  • Chase Brown

    • The Bengals making zero significant RB additions sets Brown up for a clear elite role.

  • Brian Robinson/Austin Ekeler

    • Washington also added no RBs in the draft or free agency.

Wide Receivers & Tight Ends

  • Jauan Jennings

    • No significant additions here despite trading away Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk coming off an ACL tear - Jennings was a top 30 WR in PPG last season.

  • Bills Pass Catchers

    • No significant additions here - Khalil Shakir could be in for a massive year!

  • Falcons Pass Catchers

    • No significant additions here - the ceiling should be higher in Penix’s second year for everybody (including Kyle Pitts).

  • Cedric Tillman and Jerry Jeudy

    • The expectation was that the Browns would draft Travis Hunter and play him primarily on offense - both of these guys are now poised for expanded roles regardless of how the QB hierarchy shakes out.

  • Calvin Ridley

    • No signifiant additions to this weapons room and Ward is likely to be an upgrade over the Levis/Rudolph duo from last season.

  • Garrett Wilson

    • Wilson is locked in for potentially the highest target share in the league (Fields supported a top 10 fantasy WR in 2023).

  • Dallas Goedert

    • Goedert ended up not being traded on draft night, and Eagles added no offensive weapons to threaten his targets.

  • Jake Ferguson

    • No target-earners were added to compete with him.

  • Brenton Strange

    • Strange remains the clear TE1 on the Jaguars.
