(Likely) Big News 🚨

Why It Matters:

AJ Brown is coming off of a disappointing season with the Eagles where his 12.9 yards per game was a career low. He’ll slide into a Patriots offense that spread the ball around a lot last season, but still managed to get Stefon Diggs to a WR14 fantasy finish with a meager 56.6% snap share. Brown will be the clear number one option in this offense and gets a QB in Drake Maye that will raise his scoring ceiling.

Its worth mentioning that things between AJ Brown and Philadelphia have seemed “off” for the past two seasons. He’s always seemed unhappy about his usage, and the team seemed annoyed with his public-facing behavior. Playing for his old coach in Mike Vrabel and entering a much more creative Josh McDaniels scheme could absolutely return him to peak fantasy form.

On the Philadelphia side of things…

Draft Devonta Smith. This is a WR1.

Dream Landing Spots for Top Draft Prospects

Fernando Mendoza - QB

Most Likely Landing Spot: Las Vegas Raiders

Dream Landing Spot: Las Vegas Raiders

Let’s Get Crazy: Los Angeles Rams

Why:

Fernando Mendoza is going 1.01 to the Raiders. And as far as landing spots go for first overall QBs…it’s a pretty good spot. While the Carroll/Geno Smith swing of 2025 did not end up working out, the braintrust of Tom Brady regime was at least able to garner the team respectability for having a clear direction. Last year’s misfires resulted in arguably an even better situation for Mendoza, as he will now get to play for Super Bowl winning playcaller Klint Kubiak, hand the ball off the Ashton Jeanty, and throw passes to Brock Bowers.

Let’s Get Crazy: On the “never going to happen” scale this is a 10,000/10 but at least allow yourself the fantasy of Mendoza going to play for Sean McVay. The Raiders are likely to be slow about giving Mendoza the starting the job. If he was already going to sit for Year 1, there would be no better place in the league for him to learn that behind Matthew Stafford.

Jeremiyah Love - RB

Most Likely Landing Spot: Tennessee Titans

Dream Landing Spot: New York Giants

Let’s Get Crazy: Dallas Cowboys

Why:

Industry consensus predicts that Love will not make it past the Titans pick at 1.04, but we’d favor the Harbaugh coached Giants as a landing spot over Tennessee. The Giants offense is simply further along than the Titans, and would likely be an environment more conducive to scoring for fantasy purposes. Theoretically there is more competition for him in NY, with Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Cam Skattebo there but Skattebo is coming off of a brutal injury, and the last regime couldn’t wait to make Tracy an afterthought after his promising rookie season.

Let’s Get Crazy: Love to the Cowboys would be pure cinema. Javonte Williams dynasty owners would riot in the streets.

Carnell Tate - WR

Most Likely Landing Spot: Cleveland Browns

Dream Landing Spot: Tennessee Titans

Let’s Get Crazy: Buffalo Bills

Why:

For fantasy reasons alone, we’d advise the Titans to select Carnell Tate over Jeremiyah Love. Tate is the newest Ohio State WR to be a projected first rounder and is widely regarded as the best route runner in this class. He produced in college, despite playing behind other stars, and will be ready to produce in a big role. The WR void for the Titans is MASSIVE right now. Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike had decent rookie seasons, but Tate could enter this offense and immediately become the go-to guy for Cam Ward.

Let’s Get Crazy: I know the Bills just traded for DJ Moore but there is room for another high volume pass catcher in that slog of a depth chart.

Jordyn Tyson - WR

Most Likely Landing Spot: Kansas City Chiefs

Dream Landing Spot: Kansas City Chiefs

Let’s Get Crazy: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Why:

Tyson has been closely connected closely with the Chiefs in recent weeks, and its easy to see why. His high-point catch ability is the best in the class and he could immediately slide in as a big play threat for Mahomes. Outside of Rashee Rice and a withering Travis Kelce, this Chiefs offense is severely lacking for reliable pass catchers. Rice produces primarily off of shallower targets, so their skillsets would compliment one another quite well.

Let’s Get Crazy: I see “high-point” catch ability and I think of Mike Evans.
