Best Bets for the 2025 NBA Draft

The draft is tonight! Here are some last minute prop values currently on the board that we like.

1st to be Drafted - Derik Queen vs Noa Essengue

Derik Queen at -115 (DraftKings)

These are fantastic odds, even after shifting more toward Queen in the past couple of days. We are projecting the Maryland big man to go between picks 6-8, while we have Essengue going between picks 9-12. Queen feels like a great fit for the Pelicans at pick 7 and Phoenix should also be in the market for a big man at 10.

Jeremiah Fears Draft Position Over 6.5 at +120 (DraftKings)

Just yesterday this prop was at minus odds, but we still believe there’s a strong likelihood that the Oklahoma guard falls outside the top 6 picks. Ace Bailey is the wildcard of this draft but given his star-upside, we find it difficult to see him falling out of the top 6. That being said it would be very surprising for Fears to jump Kon Knueppel and Tre Johnson.

Others Props to Consider

Derik Queen to be a top 10 Draft Pick (+110)

This bet is a double down of the aforementioned Queen bet we’re taking. If he goes before Essengue, he’ll almost certainly go in the top 10.

Ace Bailey to be a Top 5 Draft Pick (-160)

It’s a toss up regarding whether the Jazz would prefer Kon Knueppel or Ace Bailey. If they decide to go with Bailey, who we believe is a better fit, this prop will hit. There’s also an outside chance that the Hornets pivot off of VJ Edgecombe in favor of one of Knueppel or Bailey.
