Round 1 of the NBA playoffs was insane! Maybe not as insane as it could have been (the heavily favored 1-seed, 2-seed, and 4-seeds all almost lost in the East), but the Celtics and Nuggets getting eliminated were shocking!
As turbulent as the game results have been, our users have seen some incredible success finding Value props.
Here are two prop values we’ve identified for tonight (the last time I did an article like this we did extremely well):
Do us a favor and check out the NBA Prop Evaluator in the WalterPicks app. It scans literally hundreds of props every minute to find values and clicks help us bring you articles like this. 🙌
Luke Kennard Over 1.5 3-Pointers made (+164) - Value +1.3%

Why:
Luke Kennard played steady minutes in the first round, averaging 35.6 minutes per game in the final 5 games of the series. While he only exceeded 1.5 3-pointers made twice during the series, he attempted 3.8 per game.
Expect the Lakers to be aggressive from the 3-point line early, as they are massive underdogs in this series. This line can be found on FanDuel, where at +164 its getting significant value compared to other books.
Daniss Jenkins Under 3.5 Assists (-161) - Value +3.7%

Why:
Bet MGM is giving a massive value on this line, setting the O/U at 3.5 with almost every other book at 2.5. Jankins averaged less than 20 minutes a game against the Magic, and exceeded this mark in only 2 of 7 games during that series.
Walter projects a 64% win rate on this prop, making it tremendous value as both a standalone bet and a leg in a parlay.
Knicks to Win the Championship (+800 DraftKings)
Why:
The Knicks led the NBA this season with a net rating of 18.3. In the past 14 seasons, 12 of the champions led their conference in net rating. They are the prohibitive favorites to represent the East in the Finals, everything about their statistical profile tells us that they are in the same league as the Spurs and the Thunder, and they excel in clutch time scenarios.
At 8-1 odds, this is worth a sprinkle and will be easy to hedge if they do indeed make it out of the East!
