Top 5 Most Impactful Changes 🚨

Drew Petzing

Of the 21 new OC hires, many won’t be calling plays or change the expectations for their offensive players. Here are the top five that will most impact their teams AND fantasy football in 2026!

5: Matt Nagy (Giants)

The hiring of Nagy was met with criticism - but it’s one of the most important hires of this cycle.

Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo, and Malik Nabers are going to be sought-after fantasy options. Seeing how Nagy meshes with the other offensive hires in New York is going to be crucial for their success.

4. Drew Petzing (Lions)

Petzing didn’t have a great run in Arizona, and is now expected to take over play calling duties from Dan Campbell. The shear amount of fantasy assets on this team gives Petzing a tremendous fantasy impact. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Sam LaPorta will all have enormous expectations.

3: Zac Robinson (Bucs)

This hire flew under the radar. He was decent in Atlanta, but now he’s responsible for calling an offense with Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving, Emeka Egbuka, Chris Godwin, and potentially Mike Evans.

Zac Robinson helped make Bijan Robinson one of the best fantasy RBs in history throughout his tenure, can he help do the same for Bucky Irving?

2: Mike McDaniel (Chargers)

McDaniel is one of the best offensive minds in the NFL and he now gets a huge QB upgrade in an offense loaded with young talent.

With their offensive line healthy, it’s reasonable to expect both Omarion Hampton and Kimani Vidal to be very valuable fantasy assets in this new scheme. McDaniel’s 2023 Dolphins team saw both Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane finish top-5 in points per game.

1: Declan Doyle (Ravens)

Doyle is unproven and young. But, he’s coached under Sean Payton and Ben Johnson, and has the confidence of Baltimore to find success.

This one is the most important because he’s responsible for Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry - two of the highest ceiling players in fantasy. If Doyle brings some of what he’s learned to a team that demands excellence, there’s a world where Lamar and Henry break fantasy football in 2026.

The ceiling of the Ravens’ tandem is higher than any other tandem in the league… IF Doyle can do his job at a high level.
