Our team has spent every day since the Super Bowl projecting the upcoming NFL season. So yeah, we have some takes on how the standings will shakeout.
We wrote this up with percentage odds on Polymarket, where you can trade predictions like this and cash out at anytime you’d like.
Joey Pollizze: Dallas Cowboys to Win the NFC East - (33% on Polymarket)

Reasoning: The Cowboys already have a top tier offense, and they upgraded their defense significantly this offseason. The additions of rookie Caleb Downs, veteran Von Miller, and defensive coordinator Christian Parker will help Dallas win the NFC East. The Eagles lost their best offensive weapon. There are still question marks about the Commanders, especially with the recent injury to Laremy Tunsil, and the Giants are not ready to make that jump yet.
Sam Factor: Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Make the Postseason (42% on Polymarket)

Reasoning: The NFC South remains one of the easiest divisions. The Falcons and Panthers have very little chance to compete offensively given their QB situations and schedules. The Bucs have one of the best offensive lines in the league and more depth offensively across the board than almost any team in the NFL.
Andrew Sampogna: Minnesota Vikings to Make Postseason (38% on Polymarket)

Reasoning: While they’re in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL, competent QB play was the only thing holding them back from being a real contender. Their defense is among the most underrated units in the entire NFL, and if Kyler Murray can be 70% of his prime self, the Vikings are 100% a playoff team.
Patrick McDonnell: New England Patriots to Win the AFC East (40% on Polymarket)

Reasoning: Given that the Bills are trading at 56%, this feels like a remarkably good price. This division is a clear two horse race, and for how much has been made about the Patriots schedule ramping up this year, the Bills don’t get any kind of break with their second place opponents. Both teams play the NFC North and AFC West, and while the Bills won’t have to play the Seahawks, Jaguars, or Steelers…they will have to play the Rams, Ravens, and Texans. Not much of a reprieve.
The Patriots added more talent this offseason and fewer coaching question marks. These odds should be closer.
